Bénéficiaires du Fonds de soutien communautaire pour les enfants disparus des pensionnats
Le Fonds de soutien communautaire pour les enfants disparus dans les pensionnats a été lancé en juin 2021 pour aider les communautés autochtones à retrouver leurs enfants disparus dans les pensionnats indiens, comme l'avait prescrit la Convention de règlement relative aux pensionnats indiens.
Le financement est fourni dans le cadre de ces volets :
- recherche locale et collecte de connaissances;
- commémoration et hommage;
- travail d'enquête sur le terrain.
