Acquisition program details
One hundred and seven works of art were selected for the Indigenous Art Collection at Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.
The jurors for the National acquisitions program were:
- Dayna Danger (Métis), visual artist who works in photography, sculpture, performance and video
- Adrian Stimson (Siksika (Blackfoot)), award-winning interdisciplinary artist
- Glenn Gear (Inuit), animator, filmmaker, and visual artist
- Tania Willard (Secwepemc), multidisciplinary artist, curator, and Assistant Professor in Creative Studies and Visual Arts at the University of British Columbia
