Conditions of appointment and remuneration

Each organization operates separately from all governments. Members of organizations are not delegates of the parties who nominate or appoint them.

All candidates proposed for federal appointment or nomination must undergo a federal security verification, which may include the provision of fingerprints and a credit check.

Remuneration for days served is provided. An additional isolated post allowance may also be provided depending on place of residence. Travel expenses are reimbursed in accordance with Treasury Board Guidelines. Consult the tables below for the remuneration rates for each organization.
