In this table, the column "Total Authorities" reflects only the annual planned spending for fiscal year 2013–2014 as outlined in the Original Estimated Total Cost or Revised Estimated Total Cost columns.

Main Estimates and planned spending are zero for the EIS project because initial completion date was anticipated for fiscal year 2013–2014. The amount of $5.1 million expended in fiscal year 2013–2014 is included in the actual total cost of $27.2 million (cumulative to date).

Note that the project scope was re-defined by Cabinet prior to Budget 2012. The total project cost was amended to $137 million through the October 2012 Treasury Board submission. Due to work plan adjustments in the design phase and to delays in contracting authorities for Construction services, some activities have been postponed to future years, $2.5 million was reprofiled from 2013–2014 to 2014–2015 and a carry-forward request has been submitted for $2.6 million. Some activities for the CHARS project have been postponed to future years.
