The theme of this year's First Nation Governance and Capacity Development Conference is Strategic Opportunities. It will feature experts from the Yukon and beyond who will share their experiences and expertise on governance partnerships, capacity development, economic development, and education.

More About The Conference

The annual First Nation Governance and Capacity Development Conference is hosted by the Government of Yukon, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada and the Council of Yukon First Nations.

The conference offers networking and learning opportunities, and helps share information and experiences on a variety of local and national First Nations governance and capacity initiatives.

First Nation chiefs and council members, and First Nation Elders and Youth are encouraged to attend, along with senior officials from First Nation, Yukon and federal governments.
