Transfer Payments Unit

We are responsible for creating funding arrangements, processing audits and leading default management and risk assessment activities. Our unit works with First Nations, Government of Yukon and other organizations that receive grants and contribution funding from AANDC's Yukon office.

The First Nations and Inuit Transfer Payments (FNITP) System is a web-enabled transfer payment management system that provides financial and non-financial reporting capabilities for recipients. Our staff often travel to Yukon and northern B.C. communities to train First Nation government employees on the FNITP system.
